What we collect when you visit cubegrove.com, why we collect it, and how you stay in control of it.

Last updated: 31 August 2026

1. Who we are

This policy covers the website cubegrove.com. “CubeGrove”, “we” and “us” mean the operator of that site. Write to us at hello@cubegrove.com.

CubeGrove publishes independent overviews of short browser games. We are not the studio behind Wheel Out. Stills on this site are used to describe that title.

2. What we collect

We keep collection to the minimum needed to run the site.

  • Technical data. IP address, browser type and version, operating system, screen size, referring page and the pages you open. Your browser sends this on every request.
  • Usage data. Aggregated, non-identifying measurements such as how long a page was open and which sections were reached.
  • Data you send us. Anything you include when you email the address on this site.

We do not ask for payment-card details, government identifiers or health data. Please do not send them to us.

3. Why we use it

  • To serve the site correctly on your device.
  • To measure traffic and improve layout and copy.
  • To detect abuse and automated scraping.
  • To answer messages you send us.
  • To meet legal obligations that apply to us.

Under the GDPR, our legal bases are legitimate interest for security and basic measurement, consent for any optional analytics cookies, and legal obligation where a law requires us to retain something.

4. Cookies

This site can run without optional cookies. If we later add a measurement tool, it will only set cookies after you agree. You can withdraw that agreement by clearing cookies for this domain in your browser.

5. Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers that make the site work — hosting and content delivery — and only to the extent they need it.

We will also disclose data where a valid legal request obliges us to, or where it is necessary to establish or defend a legal claim.

6. Where data is processed

Our infrastructure is hosted in the European Economic Area. Where a provider processes data outside the EEA, that transfer is covered by the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.

7. How long we keep it

  • Server access logs: up to 30 days, then deleted.
  • Aggregated analytics: up to 14 months.
  • Email correspondence: up to 24 months after the conversation ends.

8. Your rights

If you are in the EEA or the UK you can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, or transfer it to another provider. You can also object to processing based on legitimate interest.

Write to hello@cubegrove.com and we will respond within 30 days. You may also complain to the data protection authority in your country.

9. Children

This site is a public editorial overview. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Access to logs is limited to the people who need it.

11. Changes

If we change how we handle data, we will update this page and move the “last updated” date.
