The tire
leaves the wood.

Wheel Out is a short cartoon launch. Two mechanics fire a tire off a homemade ramp. Pickups rewrite the score over a sun-baked village. The landing is the last line.

The idea

A homemade ramp, drawn in afternoon light

Short clips of a tire leaving a wooden ramp have been looping on phones for years. Wheel Out keeps that joke and puts a whole village under the flight path.

There is no grid to study. One object moves. Whatever it touches writes to a single score. The last metres still decide whether the flight was clean.

You do not steer after the push. You read the air.

On the path

What the tire can meet

The field is a short obstacle course. Objects feed the score, scale it, cut it, save the height, or stop the flight.

+1 to +10

Score pickups

Flat adds as the tire rolls through them. Early numbers look small until a later multiplier gets hold of the stack.

x2–x5

Score multipliers

These scale the whole total, not just the last pickup. Order matters: a modest stack plus one x4 is the round people talk about.

/2

Pigeons

A pair of birds halves the current figure. A clean flight can shrink in one beat if the tire meets them late.

Ladder

A save in the air

A ladder can catch a falling tire and throw it higher again — the one object that feels like a second chance.

Wall

Hard stop

A wall ends the flight on contact. No more pickups after that. The round is simply over.

Crow

A drop in height

A crow with a firecracker dumps altitude without rewriting the score. The landing, after that, is closer than it looked.

How it plays

Three beats, then the tire is gone

The loop is short on purpose. Most people understand Wheel Out before the second launch lands.

  1. 01

    Ready the ramp

The two mechanics stand by the motor. You can slow the playback if you want a clearer read of the pickups, then you launch.

  2. 02

    Watch the flight

The wheel leaves the wood. From that moment the path is locked. Adds and multipliers write to one score as the village slides by.

  3. 03

    Read the landing

A clean drop keeps what survived the air. A pit or a wall can close the round with nothing. That last beat is the whole joke.

FAQ

Questions worth asking first

What is Wheel Out?

Wheel Out is a short cartoon arcade game. Two mechanics launch a tire from a desert ramp. The tire flies a path of pickups, and the landing closes the round.

Do I need to download an app?

No. Wheel Out is built in HTML5, so the same version runs in a current mobile or desktop browser. There is no installer and no store listing required to read this overview.

How does a round play?

You tap to launch. After that you watch. Pickups add to the score or multiply it. A /2 halves it. The landing is the last beat of the flight.

Is Wheel Out multiplayer?

No. Each launch is a single-player round, resolved on its own.

Which devices work?

Phones, tablets and desktops with a current browser: iOS, Android, Windows, macOS and Linux.

Is CubeGrove the studio?

No. CubeGrove publishes independent overviews of short browser games. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or operated by the makers of Wheel Out.

The desert is the whole joke.
